Project Consultation
Every project begins with a consultation to discuss goals, requirements, and feasibility. Quotes are based on the information available at the time and may be adjusted if project scope changes.
Design Ownership & Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customers retain ownership of their ideas and proprietary information. NelFinco retains ownership of internal design methods, tools, and processes developed during the project.
Confidentiality
Customer information and project details are treated as confidential. Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) are available upon request.
Scope Changes
Engineering projects often evolve. Requests that significantly alter the original design scope may require revised pricing and schedules.
Prototypes and Testing
Prototypes are intended for evaluation and design validation. Customers are responsible for testing products within their intended applications and ensuring compliance with any applicable standards or regulations.
Manufacturing Responsibility
NelFinco provides design and engineering services but cannot guarantee the quality or performance of parts produced by third-party manufacturers unless otherwise specified.
Lead Times
Project timelines are estimates and may vary depending on complexity, customer response times, revisions, and outside suppliers.
Payment Terms
Projects may require an upfront deposit. Remaining balances are due according to agreed milestones or upon project completion. Final deliverables may be withheld until payment is received.
Revisions
Quotes include a reasonable number of design revisions. Extensive redesigns or changes outside the original scope may incur additional charges.
